We are seeking a skilled Operations Safety Specialist to join our team at Field Mining Services Group.
About the Role:
The Operations Safety Specialist will be responsible for conducting audits and inspections on operational areas, monitoring compliance with WHS legislation, codes of practice, and applicable Australian Standards. They will also provide guidance and assist with implementation of risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and inspections on operational areas
- Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, codes of practice, and applicable Australian Standards
- Provide guidance and assist with implementation of risk management strategies
- Liaise with the team to keep VOC's managed
Requirements:
- Relevant Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Health and Safety
- Rehabilitation & Return Work Coordinator certificate
- Drivers Licence – essential
- Be an effective communicator – written, verbal & interpersonal
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
Salary: The salary for this role is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
