Job Description:

A key opportunity exists for an experienced Commercial Analyst to provide critical analytical support to the Upstream Commercial Manager in Toll Energy. This role is instrumental in delivering clear and accurate financial insights that inform business decisions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of Toll Energy systems, enabling timely and accurate financial reporting. They will work closely with the Commercial Manager to analyze business trends, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective strategies to drive financial performance.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Establish sound invoicing processes and monitor their effectiveness to ensure complete and accurate revenue capture.
  • Develop and maintain accurate cost/financial models to generate IRR evaluations, scenario analysis, and sensitivity assessments.
  • Develop and review site-specific KPIs, metrics, and statistics to drive financial performance and provide valuable insights for forecasting and decision-making.
  • Draft letters, variations, and other correspondence between Toll and customers.
  • Develop and review business cases for capital investment.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team and Commercial Manager in preparing major tenders and customer analysis.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for annual rate adjustment requests.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduation experience in a commercial environment, preferably in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in the logistics or oil & gas industries is highly desirable.
  • Hold a degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Completed or enrolled in studying CPA or CA.
  • Ability to comprehend complex ideas quickly and communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
