Job Title: Financial Business Analyst

About the Role

This is a six-month contract opportunity for a skilled finance professional to join our client's team as a financial business analyst. The role involves delivering high-quality transactional accounting and reporting services to key stakeholders across the business.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, commerce, or accounting, with significant experience in financial roles within complex commercial joint venture environments. Advanced analytical skills in Microsoft Excel are essential, as well as high-level experience in SAP, including journal generation and posting.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following key skills and qualifications:

  • Qualifications in finance, commerce, or accounting with CPA or CA
  • Significant experience in financial roles within complex commercial joint venture environments
  • Advanced analytical skills in Microsoft Excel
  • High-level experience in SAP, including journal generation and posting

You will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance professionals. A flexible and resilient approach to work is essential, as is the ability to adapt and think outside the box.

About the Assignment

The primary objective of this position is to deliver quality and efficient transactional accounting and reporting services to our key stakeholders throughout the business. This includes preparing monthly group cash reconciliations, providing back-office support to the treasury function, and generating and inputting sales invoices.
