Job Overview

This is a leadership position that oversees the maintenance of open spaces across the Shire. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services while adhering to safety standards and best practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve parks operations, including tree care, bush reserve management, gardening, and turf maintenance.
  • Lead by example and develop team members to ensure the delivery of services that meet community needs.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and best practices, creating a positive workplace culture.
Key Qualifications
  • Certificate III or nearing completion in Horticulture or Arboriculture (preferred) or equivalent qualification; White Card; AQF3 / ChemCert and MR driver's license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of arboriculture and pruning techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with the team and community.
