Don Watson Transport is a family-owned business and one of Australia's leading refrigerated logistics companies, offering a diverse range of transport and refrigerated storage solutions.

This is a permanent full-time position with a flexible schedule, including early morning shifts and occasional Saturdays.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Senior Coordinator in managing daily operations
  2. Organize pickups and local deliveries into efficient routes
  3. Allocate local fleet and drivers to meet customer needs
  4. Meet performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  5. Ensure timely completion of deliveries and accurate documentation
  6. Communicate effectively with drivers and other divisions of the business
  7. Monitor and report on KPIs to inform business decisions
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a similar role within the transport industry
  2. Strong knowledge of the Brisbane Metropolitan region is highly regarded
  3. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
  4. Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing circumstances
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  7. Confidence in interacting with customers and colleagues
  8. Self-motivation, reliability, and enthusiasm
