Job Summary

The Fire Sprinkler Service Inspector is a critical role at DynaFire, responsible for conducting thorough fire sprinkler inspections and services to ensure compliance with NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 standards. This position requires a strong understanding of fire protection systems and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and AHJs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fire sprinkler inspections and services for a wide range of clients with various applications of fire protection systems.
  • Schedule inspections with clients and ensure timely completion of services.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with AHJs and clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Stay up-to-date with NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, and 25 standards and apply them in daily work.
  • File electronic copies of completed paperwork and maintain accurate records.
  • Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to after-hour service calls.
  • Inform management of any job-related issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with Service Sales Representatives to identify sales leads and opportunities.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on fire alarms and other equipment.
  • Comply with all DynaFire policies and procedures.
  • Acquire and maintain required equipment on the tool list.
  • Follow DynaFire's safety procedures and client safety programs.
  • Safely operate construction equipment and hand tools.
  • Participate in training classes to enhance professional growth and industry knowledge.
  • Embody DynaFire's mission statement and Core Values.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in fire sprinkler service
  • FASA certification
  • Back-flow certification
  • NICET Level II or equivalent in water-based systems
  • Proficient in office hardware and software tools used by DynaFire
  • Fluent in back-flow, wet system, dry system, fire pump, fire pump controller, and alarm device terminology as well as troubleshooting procedures
