Job Title: Process Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Operator to join our team at the Gruyere Gold Mine.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the processing plant and associated equipment in a safe, productive and efficient manner. This includes maximising plant performance without affecting the environment or health and safety of personnel.

This is an 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off roster FIFO from Perth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operation of all processing plant equipment relating to Crushing, Grinding, Gravity, Leach, Adsorption, Elution, and Tails Storage Facility.
  • Operate the process control systems.
  • Identify and diagnose items that require preventative maintenance or repair.
  • Maximise plant and equipment efficiency during production.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to plant output and efficiency.
  • Safely operate IT loader, bobcat, forklift, and power tools.
  • Develop and maintain procedures to ensure timely, consistent, and efficient execution of mining plans.
Requirements:
  • Previous operating experience in a mineral processing environment, preferably Gold.
  • Sound knowledge of process technologies and equipment including Citect control system.
  • Computing skills in word processing, spread sheets and databases.
  • Possess a valid driver's licence.
