Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled vehicle technician to join our operations team at a leading gold mine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing reliable and accurate assistance and practical application to minimize downtime and potential loss of production within the processing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and timely repair of plant equipment
- Share and display your maintenance knowledge, expertise, and practical application to minimize downtime and ensure production targets are met
- Complete all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties, such as requisitioning of parts and materials, processing maintenance orders
- Be available from time to time to operate and maintain plant equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Possession of Mechanical or Auto Trade Qualifications
- Significant post-trade mechanical maintenance experience working on fixed plant infrastructure, light vehicles, and small heavy diesel equipment
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work within a team environment
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Possession of Mobile CN crane, dogging, Rigger basic EWP and Forklift tickets preferred
