About This Role

  • Lead a team to deliver internal audits and provide expertise in technology risk management.
  • Manage portfolios of audits across global technology and cyber security risks, as well as company-wide processes.
  • Develop professional relationships with the business to provide assurance and advice on internal controls and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver all technology-focused internal audits according to the approved annual internal audit plan, on-time, within budget, and with a high degree of quality of assurance outcomes.
  2. Provide subject matter expertise on technology and cyber security to assess systems and controls defined by our organisation.
  3. Source suitable technology subject matter experts for audits through established co-source contracts or as guest auditors.
  4. Oversee technology auditors to ensure effective delivery of technology internal audits scope areas assigned.
  5. Conduct internal audits in accordance with our internal audit charter and methodology, international standards, and relevant governance requirements.
  6. Use data analytics to define scope, analyse trends, identify exceptions, and produce factually based outcomes.
  7. Engage with business leaders to ensure understanding of risk insights, promote critical thinking, and improve culture.
  8. Lead a team providing leadership on setting goals and KPIs, personal and professional development, and managing human resources activities.
  9. Engage with personnel within technology and assets to enhance asset integrity scope of the audit program.
  10. Drive positive change in internal audit and across our organisation by challenging assumptions and leading innovation initiatives.
