Job Title

Engineering Lead - Software


We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to join our team and lead the delivery of software upgrades to aircraft mission systems, ground support and training systems.


Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Communication and stakeholder engagement
    • Technical management and oversight of software delivery teams
    • Technical risk management
  • Primary technical point of contact for software delivery
  • Change Management: leadership of change integration across E-7 teams and impact assessment within Software Services
  • Quality Management: assurance of engineering outputs to meet quality and issue resolution for non-conformances and defects

Qualifications
  • Qualifications in engineering or equivalent technical experience
  • Familiarity with engineering processes and approaches to deliver weapon system software upgrades
  • Demonstratable experience in delivery of projects in a complex business environment
  • Knowledge of the BDA E-7 Enterprise will be considered advantageous
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
