Early Childhood Educator and Educational Leader

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our vibrant centre as an Early Childhood Educator and take on the role of Educational Leader and Mentor.

In this position, you will have the chance to guide educators in maximising learning, development, and wellbeing outcomes for children, in line with the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework. You will drive pedagogical practices that align with our organisation's philosophy, values, policies, and procedures.

You will play a key role in supporting a culture of continuous improvement, empowering and driving others to deliver best outcomes and provide quality educational programs and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor educators to achieve excellence in child care and education
  • Drive pedagogical practices aligned with our organisational philosophy, values, policies, and procedures
  • SUPPORT A CULTURE OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Diploma of Children's Services qualification
  • A current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Training
  • A valid employee Working With Children Check
  • Experience as an Educational Leader (preferred)
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience implementing the National Quality Framework
  • Understanding of national and Victorian Early Years' Frameworks
  • Some experience with StoryPark
