Hotel Assistant
At our 4.5 star comfort hotel in the heart of Melbourne, we are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team.
About Us:
We are a contemporary style hotel located on fashionable Collins Street close to the Town Hall, Federation Square and retail and theatre districts. Our hotel features 380 guest rooms and suites, a bar and restaurant, swimming pool and gym with 8 flexible conference & function venues equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The ballroom accommodates events of up to 400 delegates in a theatre-style setup or 230 guests for banquets.
Your Role:
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests in our restaurants, bar and conference spaces.
- Explaining menus to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences.
- Maximising sales opportunities with recommendations and suggestions.
- Communicating effectively with other departments to ensure the highest level of guest service is maintained.
- Maintaining clean and safe work spaces and guest areas, adhering to food safety requirements.
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
- Great communication skills and presentation abilities.
- A genuine interest in food and beverage as well as our local Melbourne area.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience in food and beverage is preferable, but a passion for providing great service is what will truly make you stand out.
- Bar experience is highly regarded.
