About the Role

This position involves leading a team of academics and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education programs in Business Studies. As an Associate Dean, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the Business discipline, covering Bachelor and Master of Business courses.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction to the Business discipline, encompassing both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
  • Supervise and coordinate courses across various campuses, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Teach higher education courses, developing and delivering curriculum content that meets the needs of students.
  • Maintain effective communication with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Participate in governance committees and activities, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that drive institutional excellence.

Key Requirements

\
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role, preferably within a higher education setting.
  • Demonstrated teaching skills and enthusiasm for educating international students, promoting a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
  • AQF 10 (doctoral) qualification or equivalent blend of qualification and experience, ensuring expertise in the field of Business Studies.
  • Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
