We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Hydro-Electric Corporation. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the effective asset management of our mechanical assets, contributing to the delivery of a renewable tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sustainable management of our mechanical generating assets over their full lifecycle.
- Collaborate with experts in hydropower to develop and implement asset management strategies.
- Prepare and maintain asset management documentation, technical standards, and provide engineering input into project scoping and investment decision making.
- Develop life cycle asset management strategies that align with our Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP).
- Conduct assessments to understand asset condition and identify risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in asset management, particularly in the renewable energy sector.
- Knowledge of the ISO 55001 standard for Asset Management.
- Strong technical writing skills and ability to develop asset management plans and technical standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
