About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who can manage payroll operations efficiently, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and drive continuous improvements in payroll processes.

  • Oversee and manage the full payroll cycle for a varied employee base, including salaried, hourly, and contingent workers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Manage payroll tax reporting, deductions, benefits, and statutory contributions.
  • Stay updated on changing labour laws and tax regulations, implementing necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to optimise payroll operations and resolve payroll-related queries.
  • Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Identify and implement payroll process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in a payroll leadership role, managing payroll for a diverse workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
