Job Title: Research Assistant

Our team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support our community-based research studies focused on improving ear health outcomes.

  • About the Role
  • Recruit and engage study participants, conducting ear health assessments as per study protocols, collecting, managing, and analyzing research data.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date study documentation, liaise with internal teams, community partners, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to ethics and governance reporting, funding requirements, and administrative support.
  • Support the broader Ear Health program and associated projects, participating in conferences, workshops, and community engagement as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Science, Health Science, Nursing, Public Health, Audiology or related degree.
  • Demonstrated understanding and respect for Aboriginal culture.
  • Previous experience in health research, including data collection and data management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Interest or background in ear and hearing health.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office, Excel, and electronic data capture tools.
  • Valid WA driver's licence.
