Join Our Team as a Management Accountant

Bossong Engineering is a leading provider of engineering, fabrication, welding, fitting, and machining solutions to the petroleum and mining industries. We are currently experiencing unprecedented growth and are seeking a high-calibre Management Accountant with a strong information systems focus.

Your Role:
  • Contribute to the Finance team, assisting in transaction management, reporting, and planning processes.
  • Deliver improved system solutions to internal customers.
  • Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for monthly performance reporting, planning, budgeting, and reporting cycles.
  • Assist in the preparation of group BAS, FBT, and Income Tax returns.
  • Provide transaction assistance for foreign currency and capital equipment acquisitions.
  • Develop new and existing reporting systems using SQL, ERP, Power BI, and MS Excel.
  • Develop unique, paperless administration processing and reporting systems and applications across the business using Python and Power Automate.

Requirements:
  • Must be located in Australia with permanent work rights.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Business with a strong academic record.
  • Completion or significant progress towards a CPA designation.
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in a financial role.
  • Exceptional information systems and information technology literacies.
  • Ability to multi-task and self-manage your time, attendance, and professional work ethic.
