Overview:
A Principal House Officer position is available in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Bundaberg Hospital.
This opportunity involves participating in the provision, development, and maintenance of an effective clinical service to hospital patients, working closely with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals.
As a medical practitioner in your third or subsequent year of practical experience after eligibility for full registration, you will contribute to the continual upgrading of medical education and dissemination of knowledge to staff and patients.
The appointment is for the provision of services to the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, specifically the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Bundaberg Hospital.
A key aspect of this role is collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide and support clinical services within the department.
Experience aligning with teaching hospital programs and clinical education collaboration with a university rural clinical school is highly desirable.
