Job Summary

The University of Adelaide is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Business Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics, you will be responsible for delivering business acumen and supporting the delivery of a broad range of services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice and support to the Faculty Executive Director and Heads of School
  • Oversee budget, infrastructure, reporting, and HS&W compliance with policy and procedures
  • Mitigate operational risks and ensure quality assurance
  • Lead and influence cultural change to positively impact service delivery
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and deliver client-centric results

Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualifications or extensive relevant experience
  • Experience in providing sound strategic advice and leading administrative staff
  • Understanding of current management practices and principles of human resources, HSW, financial reporting, and student administration
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence cultural change
