Job Overview

We're looking for a highly skilled team leader to manage the smooth operation of our café on a part-time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week.

Your shift patterns will be varied, including 4 out of 7 days.

Key Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you'll need to:

  • Evaluate all deliveries promptly and store them correctly
  • Supervise a team and create a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and supported
  • Maintain a responsible attitude as a key holder
  • Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as required
  • Develop and implement weekly rotas in line with manager's guidelines
  • Place orders for stock to maintain optimal levels
  • Delegate tasks effectively and encourage proactive behavior from your team members
  • Ensure compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in supervising frontline teams in a similar environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering great Customer Service
  • Team player with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook
