High Voltage Project Design Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced design lead to oversee the development of high voltage projects, including transmission lines and substations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Design management for high voltage projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to client standards.
  • Leading and coordinating all design activities across civil, electrical, mechanical, and SCADA disciplines.
  • Liaising with internal and external design teams to ensure resolution of client design comments.
  • Managing drawing and document submissions via approved document management systems.
  • Maintaining and closing out the Design Comment Register.
  • Tracking and closing RFIs and Design Change Requests on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinating red-line mark-ups and final as-built documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a recognized tertiary engineering qualification and current RPEQ/CPEng certification or eligibility to obtain these. Australian work rights are also required.
