About the Role

As an Airborne Electronics Analyst with the Australian Defence Force, you will play a vital role in the surveillance of Australian and international waters.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will work as part of a team responsible for detecting and identifying warships, submarines, illegal fishing vessels, and other targets using advanced electronic surveillance equipment.
  • You will analyse information to determine the aircraft's tactical employment and make critical decisions to support mission success.
  • You will utilise a range of sensors, including radar, electro optics, electronic surveillance measures, identification friend or foe, and acoustic sensors, to detect, classify, and track targets.
