**Role Overview**

The Australian Defence Force seeks highly skilled Airborne Electronics Analysts to join our elite team. As an AEA, you will play a critical role in the surveillance of Australian and international waters.

**Key Responsibilities**

AEAs work on long-range P-8 Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft or E-7 Airborne Early Warning Control (AEWC) aircraft, utilising sophisticated electronic surveillance equipment. Your duties will include:

  • Detection and identification of warships, submarines, illegal fishing vessels, and merchant ships
  • Analysing information for mission success
  • Operating complex suites of sensors, including radar, electro optics, and acoustic sensors

**Working Environment**

You will be part of an operational flying squadron at RAAF Base Edinburgh, working closely with your crew members to achieve mission objectives.

**Career Advancement**

This role offers career flying opportunities beyond maritime flying, including positions within Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEWCs) and potential future Multi-mission Unmanned Aerial System (MUAS) roles.
