Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Fitter Machinist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, maintain and repair precision equipment/machines.
  • Perform lathe, Milling, Grinding and tool cutter operations.
  • Use of VTL Borers, Horizontal Borers, CNC Manual Lathes, Milling Machine.
  • Perform precision mechanical measurements.
  • Perform precision levelling and alignment of machines and engineering components.
  • Perform fault diagnosis, installation and removal.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical check.
  • Hold a current drivers licence.
  • Ability to learn and develop new skills.
  • Good work ethic and punctuality.
  • Hard work and initiative.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ongoing overtime and occasional out of hours breakdown work.
  • Current White card certification.
