Public Cloud Engineer - Job Description

Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Public Cloud Engineer to work on a long-term contract with our esteemed Large Federal Government Client. This role involves configuring and maintaining Azure Cloud Foundational services and platform components to enable data products being delivered for the Client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services;
  • Implement hybrid networking with Azure cloud;
  • Configure Azure logging and monitoring for IaaS and PaaS workloads;
  • Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on the Azure platform;
  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency;
  • Automate cloud deployments and configuration management using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and ARM templates;
  • Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders on cloud-related issues;
  • Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, procedures, and training materials;
  • Facilitate the migration of legacy systems to the Azure cloud platform;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with business processes.

Requirements:
  • Seasoned practitioner with relevant industry experience of more than 5+ years;
  • Experience in ICT infrastructure and ICT services;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work in an agile team environment.

Submission Requirements:
  • 12 months initial term;
  • 6 months extension option;
  • Australian Citizens with NV1 clearance.
