**Job Title:** Python Developer - Cyber Hygiene Expert

About the Company:

Infinite Consulting is a leading provider of technology services to the Australian government. We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team and work on a high-profile project focused on cyber hygiene.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled developer with a strong background in software engineering and experience with the Python programming language. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of best practice software engineering principles, experience leading a team of developers, and expertise in implementing and maintaining CI/CD solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that technical functionality is delivered on-time and to specifications, writing code to deliver technical functionality, and ensuring that code is developed using best practice principles.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure timely delivery of technical functionality
  • Write code to deliver technical functionality
  • Develop software engineering technical artefacts

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated understanding of best practice software engineering practices
  • Experience in leading a team of developers
  • Developing using the Python programming language
  • Experience implementing/maintaining CI/CD solutions
  • Experience in designing and developing distributed systems
  • Experience with Linux containers (Desirable)
  • Experience with cloud IaaS environments (preferably AWS) (Desirable)

  • A competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
  • A long-term contract with 12 months initial term and 2x12 months option to extend
