Job Title: Aviation Maintenance Leadership Position

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced leader to head our Fixed Wing engineering operations. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of all engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, control, and supervise all engineering tasks to ensure seamless aircraft maintenance.
  • Guarantee that maintenance work is performed in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate activities related to tooling, procurement, records management, and staff training.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Hold a current CASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 & C Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.
  • Minimum ten years of experience as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) in aviation maintenance and engineering management coordination.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant CASA regulatory legislation regarding CAR 30 and/or Part 145 maintenance organizations.
Highly Desirable:
  • Previous experience as a Responsible Manager Engineering/Chief Engineer within a CAR 30 or Part 145 Maintenance Organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team in an aviation organization.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Experience with heavy/deep aircraft maintenance.
Desirable:
  • Project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
