We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering timely therapeutic services and providing high-quality support to our participants.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the disability sector and possess excellent time management and organisational skills. You will also have a pro-active attitude and be interested in continually developing your skills.
Job DescriptionAs an Occupational Therapist with our organisation, you will have the opportunity to work across the lifespan with physical disability, paediatrics, adults, psychosocial conditions, and neurodevelopmental conditions. We are committed to helping our participants achieve their goals and improve their independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services
- Assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
- Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
