ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary focus of this role will be trading index rolls within the index centralisation spot, particularly concentrating on Hong Kong, Japan, and Korea. A comprehensive understanding of APAC dividends will be essential in supporting the equity dividend trading activities in Hong Kong and Japan. The position will involve structuring targeted improvements in these areas. This role will be externally oriented, with most trading conducted through broker markets and DCPs. There is potential for this role to evolve into a leadership position within the index centralisation spot.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

We are seeking a Future Swaps / Dividends / Equity Rolls / Centralisation Trader with the following qualifications:

Required:

A minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in trading index rolls, with a strong focus on pricing dividends and interest. A proven track record of successfully pricing rolls is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, assertively, and empathetically with external parties. Demonstrated capacity for broader thinking and the ability to challenge future directions.

Preferred:

Ideally, candidates will have experience from a banking background, specifically in trading rolls based on fundamental dividends and interest. Experience in trading boxes and pricing premium rates is advantageous. In-depth knowledge of APAC dividends is preferred. Leadership experience is a significant plus, though not mandatory.
