Future Swaps / Dividends / Equity Rolls Trader

At Optiver, we're seeking a skilled Index Trader to join our team in Sydney. As a key player in our APAC operations, you'll be responsible for trading index rolls, pricing dividends, and structuring improvements in these areas.

About the Role:

  • Trade index rolls in the index centralisation spot, focusing on HK, Japan, and Korea.
  • Support HK and Japan Equity dividend trading spot with deep knowledge of APAC dividends.
  • Structure focused improvements in these areas.
  • Work externally, with the majority of trading occurring through broker markets and DCPs.
  • Potential to grow into a lead role in the index centralisation spot.

About You:

We're looking for someone with:

  • Extensive (5+ years) experience trading index rolls, pricing dividends, and interest.
  • A track record of profitably pricing rolls.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with external parties.
  • Mature wider thinking and capacity to challenge the future direction.
