About this role

The National Demand Planning Manager is responsible for developing, reviewing and improving the sales forecast for Infrabuild Reinforcing (IBR) and Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC). This role requires collaboration with sales, commercial and lead teams to create an accurate estimate of future sales. This estimate directly impacts supply and purchase planning decisions, affecting customer service, cash flow and cost outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the supply chain master data driving planning and reporting is accurately maintained.
  • Maintain and execute statistical sales forecasting functionality.
  • Continuously improve the application of available Advanced Planning Operations (APO) DP functionality to optimize forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other SAP APO users and experts across the business to share knowledge.
  • Create statistical sales forecasts in the SAP APO tool, ensuring modeling is representative of historical data.
  • Recommend adjustments to improve forecast accuracy and/or accompanying context.
