Wood is currently seeking a highly skilled Materials and Logistics Lead to join our Operations business in Australia and Asia Pacific West (APAC WEST).

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Operations team, as part of our strategic growth plan for 2024 and beyond. As a Materials and Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, logistics, and inventory management processes for our operations in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement industry best practices in logistics and materials management, inventory management, client contract requirements, and supply chain principles and techniques.
  • Manage key material control and logistics concepts and principles, and implement inventory/material processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and assurance requirements.
  • Utilize ERPS Systems (Maximo, Oracle, SAP) to manage inventory and logistics processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Commerce, Supply Chain/Logistics from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
