Disability Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Disability Care Specialist to join our organisation. As a Disability Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and aspirations.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Cert 3 or 4 in disability, individual support, aged care, or nursing
- Experience working in the disability sector
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- Ability to work proactively, take initiative, and be eager to learn
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Providing Person-Centred Care:
- Assessing clients' needs and developing individualised support plans
- Providing support with daily living activities, such as personal care, transportation, and social activities
Maintaining Client Records:
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress
Collaborating with Stakeholders:
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and other stakeholders
Continuing Professional Development:
- Pursuing ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills
