We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Policy Officer to join our team in the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of the Government's aviation reform agenda, as outlined in the Aviation White Paper: Towards 2050.
The Senior Policy Officer will work closely with the International Aviation, Technology and Services (IATS) Division to develop and implement policy initiatives that promote accessibility and inclusion in the aviation sector. This will involve close consultation with external stakeholders, including the aviation industry, people with disability and their representatives, and government agencies.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of policy development and implementation, as well as experience in working with stakeholders to achieve policy outcomes. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
