Program Director for Sensitive Physical Examinations

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Sensitive Physical Examinations Program. As the Program Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a cutting-edge curriculum that equips future doctors with the skills and knowledge required to excel in sensitive physical examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Design and deliver a comprehensive program that aligns with advances in medical education and research.
  • Clinical Teaching Associates (CTAs): Recruit, train, and support a team of skilled educators to ensure sustainable quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Research and Innovation: Conduct collaborative research projects to advance the field of sensitive physical examination education.
  • Teaching and Mentorship: Participate in teaching and provide academic guidance to CTAs and students.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or equivalent qualifications, with expertise in sexual and reproductive health for all genders.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of best-practice, patient-centred sensitive physical examinations.
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching medical or health professional students.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build high-functioning teams.
  • Record of scholarly publications and commitment to ongoing research.
  • Hold or be working towards an educational qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
