Operating in a fast-paced defence environment, we require an experienced Program Support Director to lead the management of Defence airlift operations.

This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence across multiple functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating essential program functions, including:

  • Contract management and sub-contract oversight
  • Information technology and security administration
  • International trade compliance and risk analysis
  • Quality assurance and mission control
  • Environmental health and safety management
  • Culture development and people management
  • Facilities and business administration coordination

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead cross-functional collaboration, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support the execution of key program milestones.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Leadership experience in program management or related field
  • Strong skills in contracting, financial management, and risk analysis
  • Strategic mindset with ability to drive efficiencies and optimise program performance
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across different functions
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
