At Green by Nature, our purpose is to create exceptional green spaces that enhance lives. As a Turf Surface Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing Sports turf surfaces ensuring they remain lush, healthy, and resilient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance turf areas, implementing sustainable practices to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces.
- Monitor turf health and proactively address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.
- Implement water conservation strategies and pest management techniques to promote environmental sustainability.
- Operate and maintain specialized turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with the Site Manager to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and deliver exceptional results.
- Communicate effectively with Site Manager to understand expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
- Cricket Wicket experience (desirable)
- Previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with turfgrass species, growth habits, irrigation systems, and maintenance requirements.
- Valid Drivers Licence
- White Card or willingness to obtain
- Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- AQF3 Chemical Accreditation (desirable)
What We Offer:
- Estimated annual salary: $85,000 - $110,000 AUD
