Technical Support Specialist

The role of a Technical Support Specialist involves providing technical support activities as part of service delivery and projects deployment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting desktop, infrastructure and services across multiple technology streams
  • Resolving incidents and Service Requests within agreed SLAs
  • Maintaining and housekeeping customers' physical infrastructure
  • Effective customer management by keeping them updated on their case progress
  • Accurate recording and timely submission of Timesheets and project efforts

Key skills required for this position include:

  • Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining PCs in a Windows environment
  • Proficiency with end user technology support, particularly in Windows operating systems
  • Strong customer focus in dealing with clients
  • Proven experience with desktop management tools
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework concepts
