Senior Data Management Specialist

This is a technical role requiring deep knowledge of data management, analytics, business continuity, and virtualization technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and managing professional services engagements, including availability solutions, data protection, and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide input to proposal writing and Statements of Work
- Support delivery implementation and consulting services
- Manage project planning, scheduling, communication, and resource allocation
- Assist in solution assessment and design
- Estimate solution implementation effort
- Address post-installation issues
- Create documentation and guides
- Deliver on-site training and support
- Contribute to sales efforts
- Analyze client environments and optimize Veeam configurations
- Facilitate communication between clients and Veeam support
- Identify additional needs within client environments
- Prioritize process improvements and documentation updates
Qualifications
- VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience
- Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's Degree in technology required
- Hands-on experience with Veeam products
- Proven consulting and project management experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand customer needs and architect suitable solutions
- Strong technical knowledge of VEEAM solutions and associated technologies
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V
- Understanding of disruptive storage systems and networking protocols
- Knowledge of traditional storage and backup architectures
- Experience with enterprise applications and data management
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and accounts
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies and protocols
