Job Summary:

As a Restoration Technician, you will play a vital role in restoring properties to their pre-damage state. This dynamic and innovative industry is seeking enthusiastic staff to join their team in Wollongong.

  • Inspect and report on damage/loss to contents items
  • Perform emergency "make safe" works to mitigate further damage on initial attendance at site where required
  • Restore contents items using advanced techniques and processes
  • Deploy, monitor and collect equipment from site
  • Meet Insurer and internal Key Performance Indicators
  • Enter claims information into the Customer Relationship Management system
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call roster
  • Undertake any other duties and tasks as directed by management
  • Travel locally and interstate as required

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in Water, Fire and Mould restoration highly regarded
  • IICRC Accreditations highly regarded
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Autonomy with minimal supervision
  • Multitasking and prioritizing competing work allocations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound organizational skills including attention to detail
  • Proven time-management skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • C Class Drivers Licence (Minimum)

A National Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements of the recruitment process.
