Key Role in Risk and Compliance

The Compliance Specialist is a critical team member for Fund Services' 1st line Risk and Compliance. This role provides regulatory oversight across Member Operations, reviewing and approving activities and materials. As a subject matter expert, the Compliance Specialist serves as a technical resource for Fund Services.



This is a 12-month contract opportunity to drive compliance excellence within our organization.



Responsibilities
  • Conduct day-to-day compliance reviews, assessments, feedback and sign-off for Fund Services teams (Member Administration & Performance, Insurance Operations & Claims, and Remediation Management).
  • Perform compliance assessments on Member Operations incidents in accordance with the Fund's Incident Management and Breach Reporting policy.
  • Provide expertise on projects or initiatives to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and Prudential Standards.


Requirements
  • Commitment to organizational values and purposes.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in financial services compliance and understanding of financial products and business processes.
  • Experience with and knowledge of financial services regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of personal integrity and ability to handle confidential matters professionally.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • RG 146 is desirable.
