Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the leadership group, you will play a pivotal role in providing clinical direction and operational management for our After Hours Management Team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in nursing with a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA registration and a postgraduate qualification in Leadership and Management or willingness to complete
  • At least 3 years' experience in a senior leadership role in a large acute hospital environment
  • Excellent people leadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team members
  • Advanced clinical competence and proven experience in clinical supervision
  • Proven track record in staff coordination and allocation
  • Demonstrated high-level organisational skills and problem-solving ability
  • High degree of computer literacy and exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Possession of a passion for delivering quality patient-centred care

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical direction and operational management for the After Hours Management Team
  • Coordinate patient admissions, staff, and resources to meet performance indicators
  • Act as the emergency controller and authorise staff and contractor call-in
  • Provide clinical support as needed
