Job Description:

This role involves various utility services across Mine Site Cleaning, Housekeeping, and Kitchen Utility tasks. The focus is on teamwork, ensuring a safe environment, and delivering high-quality service.


Responsibilities:
  • Set up, maintain, and clear dining areas
  • Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure cleanliness of kitchen facilities, utensils, and dining spaces
  • Adhere to legislated food safety and hygiene standards
  • Provide efficient and friendly service during high-demand periods
  • Support team members across departments as needed
  • Prepare and serve texture-modified meals in accordance with dietary requirements
  • Dining Room Duties: maintain cleanliness, replenish stock, and ensure crib food levels are sufficient
  • Housekeeping: clean guest rooms and ensuites, make beds as required
  • General Cleaning: manage waste, sweep, mop, and other cleaning duties in communal areas
  • Mine Site Cleaning: maintain cleanliness in site offices, crib huts, and bathhouses
  • Bar Attendant/Utility duties as part of a multi-role capacity

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working as a Utility/Utility All-Rounder/Cleaner/Housekeeper/Kitchen Hand (12 months+)
  • Commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
  • RSA
  • Driver's License (Auto or Manual)
  • Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
