Job Title: Utility Superstars

Role Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as utility workers. This role is ideal for those who take pride in creating clean and safe spaces.

  • Setting up and clearing dining rooms, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
  • Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Providing fast, effective service throughout busy periods with a positive attitude.
  • Assisting the broader team as required to achieve common goals.
  • Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods to cater to diverse customer needs.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, stocking, and cribbing food levels in dining rooms.
  • Performing housekeeping duties, including room and ensuite cleaning, making beds when necessary.
  • Cleaning common areas, emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 12 months of experience working as a utility worker, cleaner, or housekeeper.
  • A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service, prioritizing their satisfaction.
  • A motivated, enthusiastic, and positive 'can-do' attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Pride in personal appearance and hygiene, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • A valid driver's license (auto or manual) and white card.
  • Australian citizenship or Australian permanent residency status.
