Job Summary

The NSW Police Force is one of the largest police forces in the western world, employing more than 20,000 staff. This role offers a unique opportunity to join our Technology and Communication Services Command, where you will be responsible for managing technology platforms within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans and designs for technology platforms
  • Manage the lifecycle of platforms, from initial planning to ongoing operations and continuous improvement
  • Lead a small team of network specialists to ensure optimal service performance
  • Oversee service operations in large organisations with multiple locations
  • Communicate technical issues to stakeholders and collaborate with third-party service providers

Requirements:

  • University degree or tertiary qualification in a related field
  • Experience in IT Service Delivery processes and best practice in IT service management
  • Understanding of core network infrastructure components and WANs/LANs & routing
  • Leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams
