This 12-month internship presents a unique opportunity for veterinary graduates to advance their clinical expertise in emergency and critical care medicine. Working alongside experienced clinicians in a busy, well-equipped hospital will provide valuable exposure to diverse casework and the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and nurses in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Participate in complex case management under close supervision
  • Engage in structured learning activities, including journal clubs and tutorials
  • Work a flexible roster that includes evenings/nights, weekends, and public holidays
Requirements:
  • A veterinary degree (DVM, BVSc or equivalent) recognized in Australia
  • Eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of Victoria
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
