About this Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to provide high-quality support services, including personal care, to individuals with varying abilities and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and support services to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure client-centered care and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to promote understanding and empathy.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge within the sector.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Personal Care, Disability, Community Services, or Aged Care.
  • Proven experience working with clients with complex needs and supporting individuals with daily living tasks.
  • Ability to commute to Wollongong and the Illawarra region.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using client management systems.
  • Current driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle.
