About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning and Project Controller to join our commercial team in the defence sector. This is a challenging role that requires strong planning and project control skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement planning and project control processes and best practices to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure construction methodology is incorporated into project programs.
  • Develop and maintain fully integrated programs, including schedule, earned value, progress, and performance reports.
  • Monitor labour and plant productivity, and develop and update detailed hour-by-hour shutdown programs using Primavera P6.

About You

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, backed by a relevant engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Experience working on defence projects, with a strong understanding of the sector's requirements and challenges.
  • High attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office, with experience in PRISM G2, Navisworks, and Power BI highly regarded.
