About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team at MatchaTalent as a Senior Capital Project Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial advisory and decision support for capital projects within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze new projects proposed for inclusion in the business plan to ensure validity of the business case and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide comments on capital projects proposed for funding actions, ensuring that they align with our organization's strategic objectives.
  • Represent our organization on various project gate reviews, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Review complex questions related to capital projects and prepare recommendations for our management team.
  • Provide policy and project funding guidance as required, ensuring that our organization's financial resources are utilized effectively.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to track project progress and provide insights for future improvements.
Requirements
  • Willingness to relocate to a new location.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or engineering, with a professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA being desirable.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, project evaluations, project controls, process/change management, or strategy/management consulting.
  • Possess leadership skills and experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems, which are highly desirable.
  • Show significant experience within one or more industries, potentially allowing you to be considered a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish personal credibility with various internal clients and excellent interpersonal and engagement skills.
  • Be a team player capable of working across business lines to add value and achieve team objectives.
  • Have the ability to plan and coordinate your own workload and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strategy, corporate finance, and accounting skills, including the ability to evaluate industry and individual company information.
  • Be capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Possess demonstrated project management skills and the ability to offer logical and innovative solutions to complex client issues.
