Job Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a part-time Pharmacist to cover maternity leave for 13 months. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) and excellent communication and time management skills.

About This Role:

You will be responsible for dispensing medications and pharmacy products, coordinating medication requirements for patients, and providing exceptional customer service.

  • Dispense and supply medications and pharmacy products
  • Coordinate medication requirements for patients, including discharges and outpatient needs
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, carers, and hospital staff
  • Attend to front-of-shop duties and support the day-to-day operations of the dispensary
  • Educate customers on medication use, health promotion, and general pharmacy queries
  • Prepare and package medications in dosage as necessary
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
